A Nairobi businessman has been charged with defiling three minors and released on KSh1.5 million bond on Monday.

Albert Ongera was accused of committing the offence between February 1 and 28 2017 at Kibera slums where he allegedly lured the children aged between 8 and 10 years old.

There was the normal buzz, chatter and whispers in court not until the court clerk read out the first of the multiple counts of sexual offences (sodomy) pressed against the trader.

The initial charge sheet was rejected by the magistrate on account that the complainants names had been included by a police officer who is yet to take a course in Charge sheet drafting 101.

The criminal case will be heard on July 13 2017.

He is facing 8 counts of indecent act with children and sexual assault allegedly committed in Kibera’s Karanja area.
