Thirdway Alliance presidential candidate Dr Ekuru Aukot has been allowed to join the Raila Odinga presidential petition as an interested party.
The Supreme Court ruled he had an undeniable stake in the petition having been a contender and directed he files his affidavit and submissions by August 28 2017 when the hearing of the petition begins.
Dr Ekuru Aukot and Prof Michael Wainaina, who was also a presidential candidate, have been allowed to join the legal fray.
Dr Aukot alleges massive irregularities on the election outcome, while Prof Wainaina opposes the petition, saying he sees no merit in the plea for the annulment of President Kenyatta’s win.
In his application, Dr Aukot, who came in fifth in the race, alleges that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) admitted fraudulent and unstamped forms 34As in the final tally.
Dr Aukot claims in some instances, up to 11 agents signed the forms yet there were only 8 presidential candidates in the race.
Meanwhile, a request by NASA to access IEBC servers was shelved for Monday Augsut 28 2017.
NASA believes that the controversial servers hold the mystery behind the manipulation of the poll outcome that saw President Uhuru ‘re-elected,’
