The lunatic, Joseph Njoroge, who shot and killed a nurse at the Chiromo Lane Medical Centre in Nairobi will have to wait longer for a probation report that may clear him for bail.
Justice Jesse Lessit has ordered Njoroge held further till January 29 2018 when the report will be filed in court and onward determination on whether he may be released on bond.
He is accused of killing Faustine Mwandime on December 6 2017 and faces trial for murder.
Looked pretty intoxicated
The suspect is a civilian licenced firearm holder and visited the hospital at around 7a.m to seek treatment.
Police reports say the fellow looked pretty intoxicated when he arrived at the medical facility and when security guards asked him to leave the gun but declined.
Police allege the bugger mishandled the firearm at the hospital where he shot Mwandime after consultation.
It is said that Njoroge was to be admitted after consultation but ended up shooting Mwadime before his admission. The deceased suffered fatal gunshot wounds to the eye and forehead.
